You always thought time was something you had to conquer.
That if you just planned better, pushed harder, kept up—then maybe you wouldn’t feel so out of sync. Maybe life wouldn’t feel like trying to dance to a song that wasn’t written for you.
Time was never supposed to be a battle.
Your time has always belonged to you. It has always moved at a rhythm only you could hear. And even when others made you feel like you were behind, like you were waiting too long, like you should have arrived somewhere else by now—you were never late.
Because autistic time doesn’t follow the rules they set.
It pauses when something fascinates you, holds you there until you’ve absorbed every last detail.
It slows down in moments of overwhelm, waiting for your nervous system to catch up.
It stretches when you’re deep in thought, loops when something doesn’t feel finished, stays on things that matter long after everyone else has moved on.
And when people try to rush you and demand urgency and say that you’re wasting time—what they don’t see is that you’re not missing out. You’re taking in.
Taking in details others overlook.
Taking in the full weight of a moment.
Taking in the kind of deep, layered experience that can only happen when you’re given the space to move at your own speed.
You don’t need to match their steps. You were never walking the same path to begin with.
Nothing good comes from rushing something meant to unfold in its own time.
And you?
You’re unfolding exactly as you were meant to.
The world doesn’t decide when you’re ready. You do. And whenever that moment comes, it will be right on time.

P.S. I don’t think it should cost a small fortune to learn about yourself. These courses are affordable because they’re meant to be accessible, but don’t let the price fool you—they’re packed with value. Honestly, it’s a steal (and hey, a little pocket change for some snacks on my end doesn’t hurt either!).
I love the world unfolding. Something about it in contrast to growth which is like this external expectation of how one is supposed to be in develop. I prefer to unfold rather than grow in a linear way, to become more myself than I ever was before not on some predicted timeline but in my own time. The notion of existing on a different temporality and unfolding connect, and reading this made me think of that.
