Since I've moved to Kansas where we have such long hot humid summers, I always have to drink Pedialyte Sport, during the warm season, especially post workout to help ensure that my electrolytes don't go too low. I've had both low sodium and magnesium because of the heavy sweating that seems so common among dyspraxic people. I also will eat salted nuts more often during the summer as well as taking magnesium taurine supplements over the warmer part of the year too. The Kettle Chips are a good idea too. I like their corn chips with black beans and pico del gallo salsa. That's my default for whenever I have an evening where I don't quite feel like cooking Lol.
I didn’t even know there was a connection between sweating and magnesium levels! I take magnesium daily and never thought twice about it. Haven’t tried Pedialyte Sport either, never heard of it. I’ve just been sticking with Gatorade Zero but I think I'm gonna get some Pedialyte. I've heard of the brand but Pedialyte sounds like it's for kids for some reason. I didn't know adults could drink it. And those Kettle corn chips with salsa sound delish. Think I'll be adding that to the no-cook dinner list.
