You consistently say the things my heart is screaming but can’t find the words for- a deep thank you!

Also- having text and audio is brilliant and allows me to access in different states of being πŸ©·πŸ˜πŸ’œ

This means so much thank you! Such a lovely feeling knowing the words are reaching the place they were meant to. Very happy having both text and audio gives you more than one way in, depending on what your brain has available that day! I especially appreciate the audio comment since I find talking quite challenging 😸

There are many days when I feel like, "How many more ways can I say this to make this person understand", and then I just give up.

"Surely, with enough explaining, everyone would eventually understand."

Some will just never understand.

Thanks for putting something I'm often feeling into words for me. If I were a book, the footnotes would take up more space than the text! I'm learning to understand that, if someone has decided to misunderstand me, they will cling on to this misunderstanding no matter how much I try to explain (as if they'll lose face somehow by shifting perspective).

I like that I have the options of audio and text - I usually read silently, "hearing" it in my own voice helps anchor the thought in my brain somehow! But I like the idea of being read to - an adult version of a bedtime story perhaps?

That’s funny you say that because in order to get through the recording without my anxiety taking over, I pretend I’m reading a bedtime story πŸ˜‚

Also the thing about the footnotes makes me laugh cuz YES, there’s only so much explaining you can do before you realize they’re committed to their version of you. Very annoying.
